Gao Hang, born in 1991 in Baoding, China, is a contemporary artist currently based in Houston, Texas. He completed his Bachelor of Art degree in Oil Painting at Capital Normal University in Beijing in 2013, followed by a Master of Fine Arts in Painting from the University of Houston in 2015.
Gao Hang is known for his vibrant and satirical approach to modern human behaviors and the digital culture. His work often uses fluorescent colors and abstract forms to explore themes related to social media and modern technology. Gao Hang's artistic process is deeply influenced by his habits and obsessions, and he describes his work as a blend of brutal honesty, absurdity, and humor.
